Senior Security Engineer - INSIDE IR35

Duration: 6 months
Location: Remote with occasional trips to London. 
Daily rate: Up to £700.00

• Build the foundation of a Security Engineering Function.
• Come in with a review of security tooling strategy and make recommendations to enhance and uplift PO’s security.
• Strong focus on help implementing Security tooling gaps that PO currently have.
• From previous review, quite a few security capabilities missing in CICD pipeline. Identify the MUST security capabilities and tooling to fill these gaps.
• Take from POC, working with other Devs, making sure PO have got strong list of requirements and that PO can map and understand the benefits.
• Implementation, configuration and making sure it is embedded in golden pipeline.
• Documentation write up, training and awareness around the use of tools for developers.
• Take results that tooling gives and action with Devs (e.g. this is the steps you should take in future when you see something like this).
• Training and Advocating of the security culture and best practice.
• Putting tooling guardrails in place.
• Mentoring training and awareness.
• Strong collaboration across IT teams, work it Dev community and cloud centre of excellence and wide IT staff.
• Ensure proper handover when required.
• Provide guidance and support throughout implementation process.
• Backlog set up of what to do but need engineer to action.

Skills & XP:
- Security Engineering, reviews, toolings etc.
• Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)
• Terraform
• AWS CDK constructs
• Familiarity with coding languages, specifically Python and Bash and GO
• Scripting
