Project Support Officer

Duration: 6 months (initial)

IR35 status: Inside IR35

Location: Fully Remote

Our client, a leading UK retail and financial services provider, is seeking a Project Support Officer to join their  Hardware Refresh Project. You will support the business change workstream, providing essential administrative, planning, and coordination support to ensure smooth project execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination (Workstream specific) - Assist in the coordination of project workstream activities, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within scope, prepare agendas, take minutes, and ensure action items are documented and followed up.
  • Reporting / Documentation - Maintain and manage workstream documentation, including the collation and updating of status reports, workstream related action log. Ensure that all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Administrative Support - Provide administrative support to workstream managers.
  • Risk and Issue Tracking / Co-ordination - Assist in tracking, and co-ordinating workstream related risks and issues. Where possible support in the identification and implementation of mitigation strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement - Contribute to the continuous improvement of workstream processes. Gather feedback from project teams and stakeholders to identify areas for enhancement.
  • Programme SharePoint page - Maintain and update with new programme information
  • Ad hoc programme workstream assistance - Provide support to the programme workstream teams where required

Skills & Experience:

  •  Project support experience within a hardware deployment environment.
  • Ability to identify, track, and manage project risks and issues, driving ownership and resolution.
  •  Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in customer communication.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience with SharePoint and maintaining project documentation.
