Slinger

Morson are looking to recruit slingers on behalf of our client in Govan shipyard. These contracts are initially 12 months with a strong likelihood of extension.

Candidates must have marine/heavy industry background and will require a blue CPCS card in slinging. 

Role description:

• Provides specialist and non-specialist services in support of production activities, namely:
• Cleaning
• Confined spaces
• Providing temporary protection solutions
• Any other activity as appropriate

What you will be doing:

• Selects and prepares consumables, materials, components and equipment
• Delivers services and supports activities to Company standards such as but not limited to:
• Cleaning
• Confined spaces
• Lifting of loads
• Providing temporary protection solutions

Skills:

• Plant and equipment maintenance assistance

Shifts can vary:

Standard - Locals: £16.47 PAYE       Non locals: £24.47 PAYE  (Umbrella rates also available)

Nights - Locals: £21.91 PAYE      Non locals: £29.91 PAYE (Umbrella rates also available)
