Job Title: Senior Mechanical Designer
Location:

Job Type:
Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours
Job Duties:
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for manufacturing processes
- Create detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software (Solid Edge preferred)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements
- Conduct feasibility studies and analysis to validate design solutions
- Provide technical support during the manufacturing and installation phase
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Designer in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Designer in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge and Skills:
- In-depth understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Professional certification in Mechanical Design
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software
