Morson Talent is partnering with a leading organisation in the nuclear sector to find an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer for a full-time, on-site position in East Suffolk. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile nuclear project, ensuring compliance with the highest industry standards.
Role Overview:
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing and implementing quality assurance processes within a regulated nuclear environment. You will ensure that all quality standards are upheld in accordance with industry regulations, project specifications, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) procedures in alignment with nuclear industry standards.
Conduct audits, inspections, and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory and contractual requirements.
Support project teams by ensuring all work complies with approved quality plans and procedures.
Lead and support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions to address quality issues.
Provide guidance and training on QA processes to enhance project-wide quality awareness.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to ensure ongoing compliance.
Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and records in accordance with best practices.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role within the nuclear sector.
Strong knowledge of nuclear quality and safety regulations.
Experience conducting audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
Familiarity with ISO 9001, ASME, RCC-M, or other relevant nuclear quality standards.
Ability to work effectively on-site in a full-time capacity.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to manage quality-related challenges in a complex environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
