Customer Service Scheduler
Location: Derby – Pride Park
Contract: 6-month contract
Pay: £13.32 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week, rotational shifts:
Early shift: 06:30 - 14:30 (2 weeks of 10)
Day shift: 08:00 - 16:00 (7 weeks of 10)
Late shift: 12:00 - 20:00 (2 weeks of 10)
Weekend shifts: 06:30 - 16:00 (2 weekends out of 10)
About the Role
Morson Talent is proud to partner with Severn Trent to recruit a Customer Service Scheduler to join the Planning & Scheduling team. This role is vital to ensuring Severn Trent’s field operations are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for scheduling and managing the workflow for field operatives and technicians in real time. You will liaise with customers, field teams, and local authorities to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of services while keeping customers informed every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Use Severn Trent’s corporate planning tool (Click) to prioritise and schedule customer appointments and repair work.
- Communicate with customers, field teams, and local authorities to ensure work is completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Monitor workflow and adjust schedules to meet service levels and business targets.
- Keep customers informed on the progress of their requests and explain any next steps.
- Work to service levels and KPIs, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills with experience in customer service and managing expectations.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience working with external bodies (e.g., local councils, highways authorities).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and manage complex information.
- Experience working to service levels and individual targets.
Desirable:
- Experience using Click planning tools.
- Familiarity with SAP and SWIMM systems.
