At Atlas Elektronik UK (AEUK), we are seeking a Sub Contract Manager to join our team at the Dorset Innovation Park, Winfrith. This role has become available due to our ongoing growth and commitment to delivering high-quality supply chain services. The successful candidate will be a crucial part of our Supply Chain team, ensuring the efficient and effective management of subcontractors and suppliers to support our innovative projects and bids.

About the Role:

As the Sub Contract Manager, you will:

• Lead all subcontract and supply chain activities on allocated projects/bids, including drafting contracts, negotiation, implementation, and ongoing management.
• Deliver high-level supply chain services to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage end-to-end supply chain processes for bidding activities and major projects.
• Identify, assess, and manage subcontracted risks.
• Report on subcontract status, risks, and performance to Supply Chain leadership, SMT, and the Board.
• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
• Ensure adherence to legislative, regulatory, and corporate compliance.

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day:

• Lead supply chain delivery for AEUK projects, ensuring continuity of supply and managing commercial issues.
• Project manage subcontractors, ensuring performance meets required standards.
• Collaborate with peers and external stakeholders to forge strong working relationships.
• Manage and improve supplier performance through effective category management.
• Draft and develop subcontract documentation with a strong understanding of commercial terms and conditions.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in establishing and managing subcontracts in prime contractor projects.
• Proven leadership in supply chain bid activities and complex tendering processes.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Awareness of international procurement and relevant regulations (e.g., ITAR, EAR).
• Ability to manage financial aspects of complex subcontracts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive approach with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to achieve full SC (Security Clearance).
