Job Duties:

• Design and develop electrical systems and components for engineering projects
• Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure designs meet project requirements
• Perform electrical calculations and analysis to validate design decisions
• Review and approve electrical designs and modifications

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in electrical design within the engineering industry
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the electrical engineering field
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Education:

Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field/ experience

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design within the engineering industry

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficiency in electrical design software and tools
• Strong understanding of electrical principles and systems
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Chartered Engineer status
• Experience in the military and defence industry

Working Conditions:

The role is based in an office setting with occasional site visits. May involve working on projects with tight deadlines and occasional overtime.
