Project Officer
£24 - £31.76 per hour
Morson are recruiting for a Project Officer for one of our Aerospace clients based in Broughton, North Wales. Based within an Aerospace production facility you would be responsible for leading payroll implementation and maintaining project reports. Ideally we’re looking for someone experienced in leading projects, with strong project tracking skills ideally within a payroll environment.
The role has been raised to offer some short-term support on high demand projects. Therefore, it is being offered on an initial contract basis until December 2025, but there may be opportunities to extend beyond this. The role will be full time on site initially, with potential hybrid working further down the line. We can pay a rate of £24 per hour PAYE or £31.76 per hour Umbrella for this role.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning, leading, organising and motivating project teams.
- Creation of robust project plans.
- Execute project deliverables in line with the project plan.
- Design and implement process mapping workshops for a variety of stakeholders.
- Monitor, track and report project progress and status within reports.
- Problem solve, using previous experience to mitigate complex issues.
- Communicate with clients and suppliers to ensure processes are managed efficiently.
- Create appropriate project documentation including project plan, risks and issues log.
- Ensure that the relevant documentation is compiled for changing systems/business requirements.
Requirements
- Experience of a payroll implementation.
- Experience of Workday and SAP.
- Experience of leading projects.
- Experience of computerised systems in particular skills in the use of Google Applications.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written at all levels.
- Able to write project reports.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience of delivering project workshops.
- Project management qualification e.g. Prince 2 would be desirable.
- Previous experience in the Aerospace industry.
Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will need to be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance before starting on site
