This activity consists of providing expertise in the field of the integration of aircraft avionics and control equipment installation, instrumentation systems, data-loggers, signal conditioning and any other electrical equipment used throughout the test facilities within Fuel & Landing Gear Test:
The electrical integration engineer will produce/provide/deliver:
• Integration of aircraft avionic installations to suit the requirements of the test facility.
• Integration of equipment installations using a wide range of cable types, connectors and terminations.
• Expertise with respect to complex wiring and equipment installation systems.
• Support the production of wiring installation drawings and cable lists for test rigs.
• Integration of solutions for electrical emulation/monitoring/control equipment.
• Fault diagnosis in sophisticated electrical systems in order to overcome problems.
• Expertise relating to data acquisition equipment and general instrumentation e.g. transducers and signal cable installations.
The electrical integration engineer will:
• Provide a quotation, on request, for the end to end delivery of a Rig Modification Instruction (RMI).
• Work with the design engineers in order to review design solutions and to monitor progress and quality of their implementation with the wiring team.
• Participate in relevant design reviews
• Support the investigation on test benches of electrical bugs.
• Determine priorities with the Support to Ground Test Means Team and direct resources accordingly.

The contract will be until the end of the year, but likely to be extended.
This is on a 40 hour week schedule, shift patterns to be confirmed
