Morson is delighted to be working in partnership with a market leading aerospace organisation to recruit a Cost focused Data Analyst for an initial 6 month contract however an extension is expected. There is a rate of £40 PAYE Per Hour or £52.78 Per Hour Umbrella on offer for the successful candidate. The role would involve hybrid working with 3 days a week on site in Frimley and 2 days working from home.
Job Description:
The role holder will take the lead on Data Analysis for the cost team. The role will involve support to varous in house processes with analysis of data and variance analysis reporting. As well as collaborating and supporting the the programme delivery teams.
The individual should have be comfortable in communiacating and be able to pose constructively challenging questions on delivery to both peers and managers and requires a proactive open mindset with some agility to approach.
The role holder will take the lead on Dassian Workbench implementation, troubleshooting and be a process lead.
They will have a level of experience in one or more areas of practice and be expected to be able to adapt and apply these practices in different circumstances, to develop these practices and to guide and instruct others in their application.
Core Duties
Typical duties include (but are not limited to):
• Support to data set informing reviews
• Prepare analysis on variances to forecast.
• Maintain summaries of the key drivers for spend
• Undertake ad-hoc work as necessary to support the process.
• Data analysis and what if analysis for cost scenarios
• May get involved with aspects of labour resource management and material bid activity
• Able to build relationships and networks to work collaboratively
• Lead on the role out of Dassian workbench.
• Day to day tasking of early careers team members within the team as required
• Able to perform intermediate project reporting & scheduling.
• Able to undertake intermediate problem solving typically based on previous experience.
• Have a good knowledge of Business processes and procedures.
• Administration and general office skills including spreadsheets/ Microsoft packages.
• Attend on the job training as appropriate.
