Job Duties:

• Develop and implement design strategies for aerospace and aviation projects
• Support change management process in implementation of solutions
• Support the design team in creating technical drawings and specifications
• Evaluate and improve existing designs to enhance performance and efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design requirements are met
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new design concepts
• Provide technical support and guidance throughout the design process
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to incorporate into designs

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in aerospace and aviation design
• Strong knowledge of CAD software and other design tools
• Excellent project management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field

Experience:

Previous experience in aerospace and aviation design

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficiency in CAD software and design tools (Foran or Autocad preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• In-depth knowledge of aerospace and aviation industry standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineering (PE) licence
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Working Conditions:

The Senior Design Engineer will work in an office environment, collaborating with a team of engineers and other professionals. Occasional travel may be required to visit project sites or attend meetings with clients. The position may involve working on tight deadlines and occasional overtime to meet project requirements.
