Morson Talent are currently recruiting for logistics support within the off aircraft maintenance bays for our client base at RAF Lossiemouth. 

Reporting to the Bay Logistics Supervisor the Logistics Support – Off Aircraft Maintenance Bays operator is responsible for the control of assets and spares undergoing maintenance in the RAF
Lossiemouth Off Aircraft Maintenance Bays:-
• Ensuring accuracy of data input to both manual and electronic registers.
• Ensure compliance with current legislation specifically Mil Part 145.
• Day to day movement and accountability of all assets in line with the schedule.
• Control aircraft spares through aircraft regulators in accordance with current regulations.
• Progression of assets through the bay in support of the SFT RTP asset recovery process.
• Logistical support to the Airbrake recovery process.

The successful candidate will be required to perform tasks suitable to the internal level of this role. The role will contain, but will not be limited to, the following:
 ? Processing of harvested RTP assets
 ? Issuing stock
 ? Maintenance and upkeep of bay logistics registers
 ? Sumitting tranport requests
 ? Receiving R2 asset into Bay’s
 ? Processing R2 asset thought the Asset gateway ready for repair.
 ? MJDI Inventory transfers and Maintenix transactions iaw business process.

 ? Awareness and knowledge of MASO145 - Desirable
 ? Competent use of the RAF Logistics MJDI system - Essential
• Ability to work independently, Self-Motivated, Self-Starter & Proactive - Essential
• Good Time Management - Essential
• Good Communication - Essential
• IT Literate & numerate - Essential
 ? Knowledge of Supply Chain IT systems - Desirable
 ? Requirement for close liaison and working with the core Engineering and Logistics teams across TyTAN - Essential

WORKING HOURS – ON BASE
- 5 days p/wk (Mon-Fri) around relevant site core hours (7.30am – 4.30pm Mon – Thurs, 7.30am – 12pm Fri).
- Hours required to work per week are 37.00 unless otherwise stated (this does not include lunch breaks).
- Start and finish times to be agreed with local Line Management, in accordance with local site core hours.
- Lunch break allowance is 30 minutes between 12.30 – 1:00pm (or as agreed with Line Manager). 30 mins will automatically be deducted each working day by the electronic time management
system.
- Dependant on workload, local management may request more or less hours are worked within this contract.
