Configuration Manager

The Configuration and Data manager is responsible for the overall implementation and maintenance of the Configuration Management approach for the programme/product and is the single interface for all documentation transmittals between the company and external stakeholders (Authority and suppliers) 

Including: 

• Consistency of information in the configuration management system for the programme / product. 
• Responsible for the establishment of reference baselines (FBL, ABL, PBL) 
• Participates in the analysis of contractual requirements for Configuration Management (in the bid and programme phases). 
• Tailors the Organisation Configuration Management system and customer requirements for the programme and transcribes them into a Configuration Management Plan, implements the provisions of the Configuration Management Plan and makes sure they are followed. 
• With subcontractors and suppliers, ensures the application of Configuration Management requirements (SOW, etc) and ensures the follow-up of configuration management requirements. 
• Participates, with respect to the criteria, in the selection of Configuration Items selected for configuration monitoring. 
• Animates, organises and manages the Configuration Control Board (CCB) as well as pre and post CCB activities (including administrative tasks). 
• Participates in the phase reviews (PDR, CDR, etc) and in configuration audits (FCA and PCA) (i) providing Data Management support in accordance with the CDMP and supporting the programme team. 

As UK eGates Configuration and Documentation Work Package Manager

You will also serve as the primary document manager, expediting and coordinating the UK eGates document flow between all stakeholders and tracking the document review progress, reporting to the Programme manager and escalating any delays or issues in a timely manner.

Scope:

You will manage the configuration of all:

• Customer deliverable documentation (SSS, User Guides, Training documents etc.)
• eGates HW, SW, Firmware etc..
• IT deployed at Customer sites
• Validation of documentation for English comprehension

Mobilisation:

• Liaise with Security SRO to establish Internal Project Document Repository
• Establish Deliverable Document Template
• Configuration Management Plan
• Conduct briefing sessions with Document Authors and Reviewers on Configuration strategy
• Ensure all documentation is properly classified in accordance with the SAL
• Ensure all documents are checked for English comprehension
• Act as the main conduit for all Customer deliverable and receivable documentation
• Track internal and external review times for deliverables
• Support Doc Mgmt drumbeat meetings
• Manage and Maintain Confluence and ONeT repositories
• Refresh CMP and maintain until EXIT
