What you’ll be doing:

As an F-35 Contractor Instructor, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the training and readiness of F-35B Lightning squadron pilots. Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering high-quality ground school training and mission-focused support in the Full Mission Simulator and Deployable Mission Rehearsal Trainer.
• Providing training in line with Lightning Force Headquarters Air Command syllabi.
• Acting as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on allocated technical systems and updating training materials.
• Supporting Lightning squadron Instructor Pilots at the Instructor Operator Station (IOS) console.
• Offering technical and expert advice to adapt and refine training syllabi, mission scenarios, and tactics.

Your skills and experience:

Essential:

• Proven P1 in an operational Fighter Jet (FJ) aircraft
• Pairs Lead qualification
• Professional military experience

Desirable:

• Experience instructing on an Operational Conversion Unit/Fighter Jet Training Squadron
