Job Duties:

• Conduct weight and balance calculations for aircraft systems
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to aircraft weight limits
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimise weight distribution for aircraft components
• Perform weight analysis for modifications or upgrades to existing aircraft
• Generate weight reports and documentation for certification purposes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in weight engineering within the aerospace industry
• Strong understanding of aircraft weight regulations and standards

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in weight engineering within the aerospace industry

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficiency in weight and balance calculation software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering
• Professional certification in weight engineering
