QS / Commercial Manager.
Barrow in Furness
Full Time Position
Immediate start but will be willing to wait for the right candidate. The role can be offered either on a permanent or contract basis.
Requirements –
Knowledge and full understanding of NEC & JCT Contracts
Be able to manage contractual and financial aspects of a civils/construction project
Prepare applications for payment for customers and submit
Manage retentions and final accounts
Prepare and negotiate compensation events with clients
Prepare and negotiate tenders
Manage costing systems to control profit and loss / job analysis
Visit construction sites to measure new tenders and quantities for existing works
Management of subcontractors work orders, contracts, applications and retentions
Work on site and within HBPs office
Work alongside Project Managers with regular communication
Available and willing to commute in South Cumbria
