Project Planner

£40 per hour negotiable

One of our innovative clients have acquired an empty facility and are looking for a Project Planner or Construction Planner to create a facilities modification programme. You would develop the site into an Aerospace material development facility by creating a central integrated plan which will range from an empty site to having it fully security proofed, with power, IT and the first working cells. We need a strong communicator who can work with customer and stakeholders to make sure the plans they design are compliant and up to specification.

The role is being offered on an initial 3 month contract, but could go on further depending on project progress and deviations. We’re looking to pay around £40 per hour Umbrella for this role but the client is open to negotiation. This will likely be a fully onsite role, with an ability to travel to Filton and Emerson’s Green.

Essential Requirements

• Planning experience within a large engineering facility
• Use of Microsoft project – can pull large detailed plans together and be accountable for them and communicate them.
• Excellent stakeholder management, in particular able to communicate to senior management as well as construction professionals.
• Proactive approach to work, seeks to find solutions to issues before they become problems.
• Able to work autonomously.
• Able to work between Emersons Green and Filton sites

Desired Skills

• Construction industry experience ideally within renovations.
• Some experience with other planning software in particular primavera would be beneficial.
• SC cleared currently or previously.

Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will need to be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance before starting on site
