Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Nottingham for a water project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the commercial and contractual aspects of the project, ensuring cost control, profitability, and accurate reporting. This role requires a thorough understanding of AMP8, CVR, subcontractor orders, cost forecasting, NEC options A-C and Option E, as well as comprehensive reporting capabilities.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts (Options A-C) and Option E
• Experience with cost value reconciliation (CVR)
• Expertise in cost forecasting and subcontractor management
• Accurate and timely reporting, with strong commercial and financial acumen
• Contractual compliance, project cost control, and risk management with mitigation plans
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management/cost control software
• Certifications & Standards:
• HNC in Quantity Surveying or similar (essential)
• Undergraduate degree in Quantity Surveying or similar (advantageous)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the utilities or civil industry (desirable)
