M&E Manager

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior M&E Manager / Technical Lead to oversee all technical aspects of our contract within an acute healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in M&E management, excellent leadership skills, and can oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical infrastructure to support patient care and hospital operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that works are undertaken in accordance with all HS&E legislation, company HS&E Policies, Procedures & Minimum Safety Standards, and the site Health Safety and Environmental Plans.
  • Ensure all M&E systems comply with healthcare-specific regulations and standards.
  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of critical systems such as HVAC, medical gas systems, and emergency power supplies.
  • Maintain working knowledge of water management systems within a healthcare setting, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Support healthcare M&E projects to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage subcontractors, service providers & operatives to construct works safely.
  • Assist with the development of asset lifecycle plans and provide input into the design of lifecycle projects.
  • Provide technical oversight, guidance, and support to the lifecycle project team, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Act as the main technical point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Support and mentor a team of M&E engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Work closely with clinical staff, hospital facility managers, and other stakeholders to ensure M&E systems meet the needs of the hospital.
  • Identify and mitigate M&E risks, ensuring safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Support the development and implementation of emergency response plans for M&E systems, including fire safety, power outages, and equipment failures.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in M&E management
