Property Surveyor

Property Surveyor - Contract work - 3 months - West Yorkshire

Location: West Yorkshire
Duration: 3 months initially
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm

We are recruiting for a respected non-profit provider of affordable homes. We are looking for an interim Property Surveyor to join their team.

Duties:

  • Conducting property inspections and providing technical advice to ensure maintenance work meets high standards
  • Managing maintenance contracts and overseeing work to achieve value for money
  • Maintaining property records, including condition surveys, EPC data, and compliance documentation
  • Assisting with the organisations cyclical maintenance and component replacement programs

The ideal candidate will have:

  • HNC or equivalent qualification in a building discipline
  • Experience in housing maintenance surveying and working in construction
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations like CDM and housing legislation
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and customer service skills
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to delivering results
