Senior Planner

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Planner to join our client for projects ranging between £50m - £150m. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with multi-story and multi-room projects and will have previously worked with Tier 1 contractors.

This role requires the ability to develop, maintain, and manage all project schedules and related control deliverables.

The Senior Planner will report on and monitor progress and costs to identify trends and assist in forecasting. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of construction methods, be proficient in planning software such as ASTA and Primavera, and have a background in site management or project management.

Skills:
- Demonstrable background in construction planning
- Experience managing projects from a planning perspective
-Experience with multi-story and multi-room projects
-Previous Tier 1 contractor experience
-Proficiency in planning software (ASTA, Primavera)
-Understanding of NEC3 and JCT forms of contract
-Ability to produce and update project schedules
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Excellent communication and presentation skills
-Background in site management or project management

Certifications & Standards:
-Relevant CSCS Card
-Degree or HNC/HND in a related field (preferred)
-Member of an accredited professional body (CIOB or similar
