Associate Director

Our client are a medium sized property consultancy and are currently recruiting for an Associate Director Quantity Surveyor to join a highly regarded, professional, multi-sector Construction Consultancy based out of there Manchester office. They are well known for their quality led services, commitment and fantastic company culture.

ROLE

As Associate Director you will be responsible for delivering interesting projects with a hands-on approach throughout the whole project life cycle from inception to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered within budget, on time, and to the clients requirements.

Your duties will include (but not limited to):

• Managing a multi-disciplined team consisting of Cost and Project Managers, as well as supporting the Building Surveyors
• Providing advice on procurement strategy, risk management, value engineering and the overall tendering process
• Provide advice on contract arrangements
• Prepare tender documents
• Advising clients on tenders when received, including undertaking a full tender evaluation
• Prepare contract documentation
• Working closely with the Team and mentoring / working with graduates
• Developing existing Client contacts and relationships
• Developing new Client contacts and relationships
• Leading/Assisting with business development where necessary

Our client is willing to consider applications from candidates from either a Building Surveying, Quantity Surveyor or Project Management background.

This person will be leading the current team of 6 in Manchester with a view to moving on to take a Director level role on a medium to long term basis with the support of the current Senior Leadership Team.
