Anderselite are currently working with an expanding South Wales office and are seeking talented Architectural Technologists/ Architectural Assistants Part I and II and Architects that are eager to progress with their careers and enahance their experience to join a busy and passionate team.
Dive into a world of diverse projects across multiple sectors while working collaboratively with fellow professionals. You will be working on a range of projects varying from Commercial, Education and Defence and will ideally have experience in any of these 3 sectors.
Working with long-standing clients, you will be exposed to a depth and breadth of projects across all sectors, this client offers excellent experience and first-class mentoring support to help you achieve your ambitions with a clear pathway to Chartership, Senior / Associate levels.
You will;
Work closely with Project Architects and Design Teams to develop detailed technical drawings, specifications and construction documents.
Collaborate in the preparation of planning applications, building regulation submissions, and other project documentation.
Conduct site visits and liaise with Contracts, Consultants and Clients to ensure the smooth progression of projects.
Utilise your technical knowledge to contribute to the development of innovative and sustainable design solutions.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations and emerging technologies to enhance project outcomes.
Duties
Develop and produce accurate and detailed technical drawings
Collaborate with other Architects to translate design concepts into construction documents using Revit
Assist in coordinating project activities, liaising with stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Regular site visits to monitor construction progress and address any technical issues that may arise.
Stay current with Building Regulations and codes while applying this knowledge to the development of designs and documentation.
Prepare and submit Building Regulation applications.
Effectively communicate technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
Foster a multidisciplinary approach to project development.
Skills and requirements
Relevant Architectural Qualification
Strong understanding of Building Regulations, construction methods, and detailing as well as concept design and planning stages
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
Valid UK driving licence.
Ability to work under own initiative and within a team setting.
Knowledge of
MS 365 and Teams.
CAD knowledge/ Revit knowledge
Excellent IT literacy.
