Senior Architectural Technologist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a confident, well-organised, and committed Senior Architectural Technologist to join a growing team within a well-established architectural practice. This role offers the chance to contribute to the ongoing success and growth of a dynamic practice with a national presence and a reputation for excellence in sustainability, health, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce a variety of working drawing packages.
  • Contribute to planning applications and other regulatory procedures.
  • Lead the detailed design process and coordinate design information.
  • Liaise with planning authorities and building inspectors for statutory approvals.
  • Conduct design-stage risk assessments.
  • Administer contracts and project certifications.
  • Evaluate building performance and provide maintenance management information.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A relevant qualification in Architectural Technology (BSc Hons, HNC, or equivalent).
  • Membership with CIAT or an equivalent professional body.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in REVIT and experience with BIM (advantageous).
  • Familiarity with Cobie data (advantageous).
  • Strong detailing and Building Regulation knowledge.
  • Experience with NBS specification software.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and design.
