We are looking for a Contracts Manager, in Sizewell.Projects will include, but not limited to dredging and marine civil engineering contracts for clients ranging from government agencies to large corporaons and private individuals. Works may include dredging, Scour Protecon, Bridge Construcon, Minor Civils, Environmental Improvement and Marine Piling.

Key Responsibilities:
People:
- Client management - providing key service to clients and ensuring all systems and requirements are in place develop new relationships with clients at the earliest opportunity and maintain throughout and after project completion.
- Supplier management - sourcing, maintaining and developing relationships with suppliers.
- Promoting the Land & Water Group.
- Performance management of subordinates.
- Maintaining a positive and productive working culture by creating and maintaining a high
performing team.
- Develop succession plans in line with the division and the staff’s requirements.
- Training and development of the team as they and the division require.
- Project management - check planning, performance and delivery of TES work.
- Health & Safety - ensure all sites run to the highest possible safety standards in line with
current legislation and regulations including training and record keeping for employees, subcontractors, client, visitors and the general public always looking at ways to improve and stay ahead.

Contracts Managers level of decision making required
1. Manage projects of an unlimited value, risk and complexity.
2. Using knowledge and experience make judgement regarding risk related issues and required action.
3. Using knowledge and experience to make judgements regarding modifying the project programme to deal with risks, opportunities and variances.
4. Prioritise workload and competing elements and activities of multiple projects to ensure delivery to timescales agreed.
5. Judgement regarding upward referral of issues to line management for further guidance Project Manager’s experience and competence

1. Proven experience of managing multiple high complexity projects within the relevant discipline. 15 years or more experience preferred. Experience of managing projects £2m plus.
2. Proven experience of managing multiple high complexity Design & Build Projects throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Degree (or equivalent) in a related discipline (essential).
4. Chartered membership of appropriate professional body (not essential).
5. Knowledge of all aspects of successful project management.
6. Excellent commercial awareness and proven experience of delivering profitable works.
7. Experience of risk and risk management.
8. Proficient in the use of personal computer and business applications/software etc.
9. Valid driving licence and willingness to travel throughout UK.
10. Can do attitude.
11. Willing to be an ambassador for the client and job
