Cyber Security Lead

Our Client:

Are a well know UK leisure brand who are undertaking a large transformation project as the business undertakes significant changes to its operating model. This has led them to create their own technology division including building the cyber security capabilities.

Your Role:

In this newly created position as cyber security lead you will mentor a small team of engineers, conduct hands on duties to implement and fine tune the cyber security technologies and work with the business to identify new solutions that meet the company’s aims.
The role can offer a remote working environment with occasional visits to the office.

Responsibilities:

• Team leadership, mentoring of team members and manage 3rd party relationships.
• Implement, support and optimise the technology stack to maintain a secure, well protected environment.
• Carry our regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify future threats.
• Develop and deliver cyber awareness training programs for all employees.

Essential Experience:

• Hands on involvement with a mix of the following solutions: Endpoint detection and response solutions, Privileged Access Management, Terraform, AWS or Azure Security, SIEM platforms, Email security systems, Security proxy gateways, Cloud Security Posture Management
• Performed mentoring or team leading duties, delegated work load duties and reviewed completed work to make sure it meets business requirements.
• Worked on cyber strategies to identify and implement solutions to meet business needs.
• Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders both internal and external to deliver a fit for purpose cyber security environment.
