Morson are recruiting for Platers on behalf of our client in Barrow in Furness

The role is a 12 month contract with starts subject to security clearance.

Requirements: Apprenticeship Certificate

What you’ll be doing:
• Welding Butts and Fillets to a high standard
• MIG and TIG welding- Pipe Welding
• Welding different materials (Carbon, Stainless steel and Aluminium)
• Safely using both power assisted and Industrial powered tools
• Self-Verification on all welds
• Adhering to all SHE related standards associated with welding, including fume control
Your Skills and Experience:
• Must have a recognised welding apprenticeship (Preferably ship building)
• Comfortable working in confined areas and at a great height
• Heavy Metal and Industrial experience
• TIG- Mirror Welding
• Knowledge of following technical drawings, instructions and other specifications

Rates
Local - 3on 4off - £30.14 PAYE
Non Local - 3 on 4off - £31.28 PAYE

Various shift patterns are available; nights, standard, 3on 4off.
