Our clients INEOS are currently recruiting for a Furnace Mechanical Engineer to join their team based in Grangemouth on a Fixed Term 24 Month contract. Ideally for this role they are looking for an experienced Furnace Mechanical Engineer who is capable of supporting the delivery of pressure and non-pressure systems. For more information, see below:

ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY
Grangemouth represents one of INEOS’ largest manufacturing sites by volume of products with our world-scale petrochemical plants making around 1.4 million tonnes per annum of product. One of these products is Ethylene and at the heart of the KG Ethylene Cracke is its nine pyrolysis Furnaces. An exciting opportunity has arose for the right candidate to join the KG Engineering Team for a fixed term in the position of Furnace Mechanical Engineer.

ABOUT YOU
You should:
• Be capable of supporting the delivery of a pressure systems and non-pressure systems mechanical integrity programme to achieve legal compliance and meet site standards for asset integrity, reliability and efficiency for all KG Furnaces and ancillary systems.
• Drive the implementation of mechanical site standards, procedures and practices in support of full compliance for the KG Asset including assurance activities and continuous improvements.
• Possess the necessary skillset to manage multi-disciplined work scopes within agreed budgets and timescales with the flexibility to safely adapt to change.

You may also:
• Have theoretical knowledge of the operating environment covering furnaces and critical ancillary equipment.
• Have the ability to proactively challenge working practices and engineering standards in an appropriate manner where business or engineering benefits can be achieved.
