Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Technician with expertise in Reinforced Concrete (RC) Detailing to join our team working on the SRM Sellafield framework. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to significant projects involving heavy RC structures and RC frames.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of RC detailing, be proficient in CAD tools such as AutoCAD and Revit, and ideally have experience with TEKLA. A candidate with security clearance is preferred, but it is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities
Provide CAD Technician services with a focus on RC detailing.
Prepare, review, and check drawings and models for RC frames and heavy RC structures in compliance with project requirements and standards.
Apply knowledge of load paths and structural connections to ensure accurate design representation.
Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain high standards of design and modeling.
Work collaboratively with the design team to identify solutions and ensure project objectives are met.
Maintain excellent communication with team members and stakeholders, offering a solution-focused approach to challenges.
Required Skills and Experience
Demonstrated expertise in RC detailing, including experience with RC frames and heavy RC structures.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential.
Familiarity with TEKLA is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of load paths, structural connections, and structural engineering principles.
Experience with quality assurance in design and modeling, with a diligent and detail-oriented approach.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solution-focused attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
Security clearance (or willingness to undergo clearance).
Experience working on projects with stringent design and modeling standards, such as those in regulated industries (e.g., nuclear, civil infrastructure).
Additional Details
Security Clearance: For certain aspects of the role, security clearance may be required, which could impact the start date (to be discussed and agreed upon).
Scope: Primary responsibility is RC detailing within the CAD technician team, with emphasis on checking drawings and models for compliance and quality.
