Are you ready to take on a rewarding career at the forefront of one of the UK’s most ambitious megaprojects? Morson Talent is excited to partner with EDF in the recruitment of a Records Lead for the Sizewell C (SZC) project. This is a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in a project that will not only shape the future of energy in the UK but also contribute directly to the nation’s Net Zero goals.

Following the successful development of Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C has moved into construction after securing planning approval and Government financing. As one of the largest nuclear new build projects in the UK, it will deliver reliable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years. This role places you at the heart of a pioneering initiative driving the UK’s climate change agenda.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a skilled Records Lead to join the SZC team. This role offers the chance to work flexibly in a hybrid model, combining office and remote work, with full IT support provided to ensure seamless operations from home.

Your Role:

As the Records Lead, you will take ownership of all documentation and records relating to civil engineering activities on the Sizewell C project. You’ll need to ensure all records meet regulatory standards and project specifications. This is a key position, requiring a high level of attention to detail and deep knowledge of civil construction processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee documentation and records associated with civil engineering activities.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and project-specific requirements.
Develop and implement best practices for records management across the project.
Your Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Expertise in modern documented information and records management, particularly with EDRMS systems and project controls in multi-disciplined environments.
Significant experience working on major projects in the nuclear sector or other highly regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, aerospace, or oil and gas.
Proven experience in Quality Control (QC) and assurance, particularly with reviewing and accepting quality records on large-scale projects.
Strong leadership and management capabilities, with the ability to influence and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, including confidence in preparing presentations and addressing various audiences.
The ability to advocate for best practices in records management, while also remaining open to new ideas and solutions from colleagues.
Experience developing systems and processes that address project requirements and support future operations.
Why Join Us?

By joining EDF’s Sizewell C team, youll not only be contributing to one of the most exciting energy projects in the UK, but youll also be playing a vital role in helping the country achieve its Net Zero ambitions.
