The IIF Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption and implementation of the IIF culture across the organisation. Working closely with the IIF Manager, you will support the execution of a company-wide IIF programme and lead efforts to eliminate the need for external consultancy.
At Urenco we’re committed to giving you opportunities to be your best. If you feel you meet some, but not all of what we’re looking for, please still apply. We believe in embracing the passion and potential of our people, and to achieve this we offer market leading training and development experiences. Along with the opportunity to be mentored and coached by some of the smartest minds in the industry.
What you’ll do:
- Visible Leadership in Safety Culture: Act as a leader in promoting a safety culture across the Urenco Group.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with IIF consultants, the IIF Manager, project teams, contractors, vendors, and the wider Urenco organisation to foster the implementation and promotion of IIF across all stakeholders.
- IIF Communications: Support IIF leadership communication strategies, ensuring that IIF goals and updates are effectively communicated across teams.
- Coordination and Logistics: Lead the coordination, logistics, and planning of all IIF-related activities. Oversee progress reporting to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Presentation Support: Develop presentation materials for IIF Leadership Team meetings, ensuring key messages are clearly communicated.
- Progress Meetings: Support IIF progress meetings and follow up on actions and deliverables.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead the identification and implementation of improvements to the IIF Programme, ensuring it evolves to meet organisational needs.
- Workshops and Training Support: Assist in planning, developing, and implementing IIF workshops, training programmes, and other development events aimed at reinforcing the IIF culture.
- Site Walkdowns: Support the planning and execution of site visits/walkdowns with the Projects and Operations Teams to promote safety standards.
- Ideas and Lessons Learned: Collect and compile IIF ideas, lessons learned, and best practice improvements.
- Building Relationships: Foster positive working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders. Actively promote the benefits of IIF and its positive impact on organisational and safety culture.
What do you need to thrive in this role?
- Collaboration and Communication: Demonstrable ability to collaborate with high-performing professionals, communicate strategy, and work effectively with teams responsible for delivering results.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build constructive relationships with multinational internal and external stakeholders.
- Cultural Safety Expertise: Strong knowledge of best practices in cultural and behavioural safety.
- Experience of workingwithin complex, multi-stakeholder contractual relationships and leveraging those relationships to improve performance
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse project and organisational requirements, translating them into tailored IIF delivery strategies
- NEBOSH Qualification: NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent) is desirable or the willingness to pursue this qualification.
