Senior Wastewater Network Modeller
Location: Manchester
Salary: Up to £55,700 per annum plus package (negotiable subject to experience)

A global engineering consultancy firm is seeking an accomplished Principal Wastewater Network Modeller to join their Manchester team. As a leading expert in wastewater network modelling, you will work on high-impact projects collaborating with major water companies to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions that enhance water quality and address urban pollution challenges.
With a strong pipeline of exciting work and key framework successes for AMP8, you will become part of a thriving, ambitious team that drives excellence in wastewater modelling and digital innovation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development and execution of wastewater network models to support urban drainage projects and improve water infrastructure.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate smart and digital solutions into wastewater management strategies.
- Ensuring project excellence through meticulous planning, coordination, and adherence to technical governance standards.
- Managing stakeholder relationships, including clients and regulatory bodies, through strong communication, reporting, and presentations.
- Contributing to the growth of the business by driving innovation and promoting sustainable water solutions.
- Ensure the successful delivery of urban drainage and wastewater network modelling projects, providing expert technical direction and governance.
About You
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Chartered or actively working towards chartership with a relevant professional institution (e.g. ICE, CIWEM). (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience leading urban drainage and wastewater modelling projects.
- Strong technical expertise in a variety of urban drainage modelling activities.
- Working knowledge of Info Works ICM (essential)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
