Location: Remote first London once a month
Salary: Up to £55,000 + 10% Bonus + Cash Allowance + Excellent Benefits

Exciting new role for a Senior Hedging and Strategy Analyst to join a household name in the energy sector.
They are committed to Helping Britain Achieve Net Zero and building a leading presence across Wholesale, Residential, SME, I&C, and Field Services.

Create innovative, efficient, and resilient solutions in an evolving energy market by joining the Portfolio Analytics and Trading Support (PATS) team. You will play a critical role in driving strategic decisions and adding commercial value to the power and gas portfolios.

Key responsibilities include:

Developing and maintaining hedging strategies, providing analytical support to trading and hedging teams.
Reviewing hedging activity performance to drive insight, improve commercial value, and provide visibility at the executive level.
Process improvement: identifying areas for operational enhancement and ensuring smooth execution of portfolio activities.
Collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, accurately hedge their positions, and provide clear reporting on performance, exposure, and risk.

Key Requirements:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle complex data and provide actionable insights.
Proven experience in Excel and the ability to work with large datasets.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience managing internal and external relationships effectively.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
Resilient, with a positive outlook and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Energy industry experience is desirable but not essential; coding and reporting skills are a plus.
