We’re looking for Civil Engineers, Senior Civil Engineers and Principal Civil Engineers to support a variety of nuclear projects, from new builds and life extension to decommissioning and innovative small modular reactor (SMR) development. The Role:
Based at one of our offices in Newcastle, Warrington, Gloucester, Bristol, or Knutsford, you’ll:
- Lead and deliver civil engineering projects of various scales, ensuring quality, cost, and timelines are met.
- Develop technical solutions and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor team members, guide technical tasks, and prepare design deliverables.
- Engage with SMR developers and support the regulatory approval process.
- Utilize cutting-edge design tools and methodologies in a BIM environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related field; chartered or working towards chartership (e.g., ICE, IStructE).
- Experience in reinforced concrete, steel design, and working within regulated industries.
- Proficiency in finite element modeling and Eurocodes (American codes desirable).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of UK Nuclear Licensing and Generic Design Assessment is a plus.
