Summary:
We are looking for experienced Rolling Stock Painters to join our team at the Selhurst depot. This is a night work position focusing on prepping and precision roller painting of rolling stock. The ideal candidate will have a background in painting within the automotive, aeronautical, naval, bus, or rolling stock industries. This is a 40-hour week role, with a competitive pay rate of £36 per hour (Umbrella). You will be joining an existing team and contributing to maintaining high-quality standards in our painting projects.

Skills:
Painting experience, specifically in automotive, aeronautical, naval, bus, or rolling stock industries
Surface preparation including sanding and cleaning
Precision roller painting techniques
Attention to detail and quality control
Ability to work night shifts
Team collaboration and communication
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Time management and punctuality
Experience with filling and priming surfaces
Software/Tools:
Roller painting tools and equipment
Surface preparation tools (sanders, cleaners)
Certifications & Standards:
Relevant painting certifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2 in painting and decorating or equivalent)
Adherence to health and safety standards and regulations
