We are an independent professional services company specializing in programme management, project management, cost management, and consulting across the real estate, infrastructure, and natural resources sectors.

We are expanding our infrastructure division and seeking a highly skilled Planner to join our growing team on a permanent basis.

The Role
As a Planner, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules to ensure the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects. Working closely with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders, you will help ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules/programmes for complex infrastructure projects.

Liaise with project teams, contractors, and clients to capture key milestones and activities.

Conduct critical path analysis, identify risks, and suggest mitigation strategies.

Produce progress reports, dashboards, and detailed plans for leadership and client updates.

Work collaboratively with cost and risk teams to integrate planning and reporting functions.

Support the tendering process by developing and assessing programme submissions.

Monitor project performance and provide forecasts on timelines and potential delays.

Required Experience & Qualifications
Proven experience in project planning/scheduling within the infrastructure sector (e.g., highways, rail, utilities, aviation, energy).

Strong proficiency in planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).

Good understanding of project controls processes including planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-pressure environments.

Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management) preferred.

Professional certification (e.g., APM, PMI, CIOB) is an advantage.
