Senior Systems Engineer required to work for specialist systems engineering consultancy on major rail/infrastructure projects.

Senior Systems Engineer role brief:
Senior Systems Engineer with a specialisation in infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting systems engineering activities within complex infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on facilitating technical assurance and acceptance.
•Comprehensive Systems Engineering: Apply systems engineering principles tailored to infrastructure projects, ensuring that all stages—from conception through to operation—are managed and integrated effectively.
•Integrated Systems Design: Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that system designs are integrated, taking into account the interplay of various subsystems and their collective impact on the overall project.
•Facilitating Technical Assurance: Lead efforts to ensure that all systems engineering activities align with technical standards and project requirements. Facilitate technical assurance reviews, ensuring that all systems meet the necessary quality and compliance standards before they are accepted.

Experience Required:
•Strong knowledge and experience in applying systems engineering principles, techniques, and tools, particularly those outlined in ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288:2015. Proficiency in requirements management tools and other relevant systems engineering software.
•Relevant higher education qualifications in a STEM discipline and professional certifications in systems engineering or related fields.
Previous relevant experience within systems engineering.
Experience working in the infrastructure industry.
