Location: Cambuslang/hybrid style working
Duration: 12 month contract
Rate: Inside IR35, Umbrella and PAYE options available
SPEN are currently recruiting a BIM Project Manager to enable the business to implement BIM processes and technologies for the design and construction of SPTs infrastructure. The role will drive the implementation of processes and technologies through the life cycle of projects ensuring compliance with standards such as ISO 19650 and internal and external procedures. This will enable SPT and contractors exchange information accurately and securely utilising common data environment and cloud technologies.
This role involves managing internal and external interfaces.
What you’ll be doing
As a BIM Project Manager, you will collaborate closely with implementation team, overseeing multiple deliveries and championing our internal BIM procedures and central processes. You will be at the forefront of BIM and Digital Design practices, driving continual improvement and pushing boundaries to make a tangible difference in the success of our projects, ensuring high-quality standards are met and exceeded. You will also assist project teams to meet client, business and industry requirements, including:
- Manage the Programme plan and Roadmap
- Develop processes and procedures for information management.
- Common Data Environment management.
- Liaising with clients and subcontractors regarding information exchanges and coordination.
- Working with our delivery partners
Applicants should have demonstrable experience in the following
- An understanding of the fundamental principles and utilisation of a Common Data Environment, preferably Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- The use of Revit for drafting 3D models and incorporating metadata.
- The use of Navisworks and/or Autodesk Construction Cloud for the clash detection, recording and resolution.
- Providing guidance and training to project teams on the adoption of software, working environments and information exchange workflows.
- An understanding and the deployment of BS EN ISO 19650 and its supporting appendices.
- Contribution to BIM Execution Plans.
- Requirements capture and demonstrating achievement of those requirements.
- Clear, concise communication with clients, colleagues and subcontractors.
To be successful in a role you will need to demonstrate as a minimum
- Strong Project Management IT systems delivery
- ISO19650 experience
- Autodesk Construction Cloud workflows, reviews and Docs / Build / Assemble modules
- 4D animations and planning, working along side PMO and QS teams
