Job Description

The O&M Technician will be responsible for carrying out operations and maintenance activities within the engineering industry. The role will involve ensuring the efficient operation of equipment and systems, as well as performing regular maintenance tasks to uphold optimal performance.

Job Duties:

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks on equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery and systems
• Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components
• Document maintenance activities and report on equipment status
• Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency

Required Qualifications:

• Relevant qualification in Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in operations and maintenance roles
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications in relevant areas
• Experience with specific equipment or machinery
• Health and Safety training

Working Conditions:

The O&M Technician will primarily work in a hands-on environment, often exposed to machinery and equipment. The role may involve working in different locations and occasionally require physical exertion. The technician must adhere to health and safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear when necessary.
