Job Title: Automation Engineer

Location: Lothian, City of Edinburgh, Edinburgh

Job Duties:

The Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated systems and machinery to streamline production processes. Key duties include:

  • Designing automated systems to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Programming and configuring automated machinery
  • Testing automated systems to ensure functionality
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate automation technology
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for automated systems

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in automation design and implementation
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming and HMI interface design
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Education:
