Payroll Specialist (Oracle Project)

Our client requires a Payroll Specialist to undertake several Projects during the Implementation phase of Oracle. The work can be carried out Primarily Remotely with occasional office visits when essential.

Projects will Include:-

• Write test scripts for Oracle update UAT

• Write test scripts for Benefex UAT

• Support in designing and writing Payroll processes to build complete payroll runbook

• Support in compiling data for internal payroll audit

• Check exception reports and reconciliations within payroll deadlines, correcting errors, updating systems and carrying out regular checks, as appropriate

• Input to the HR knowledge bank, working closely with the HR Shared Services team to upskill the HR Helpdesk

• Review and analyse payroll data and recommend Improvements

Experience required:-

• Hands on practical experience of payroll processing with a good knowledge and understanding of payroll & tax legislation

• Proficient in payroll software systems, preferably Oracle and intermediate level of Excel

• Experience of analysing data and being able to present results

• Comfortable working skills and strong communication

• Knowledge and understanding of monthly accounting practices

• Experience using Miro or building process flow documents
