Morson Talent are working closely with a leading Aerospace and Defence client to help them recruit a contract paint sprayer to work with them on an exciting defence project
Job Description
The role of skilled paint sprayer plays a pivotal role in some high-profile military projects, and your ideas and contribution will be valued in a medium-sized business where people really matter. Training will be provided on the products and there is scope for further development and progression within the Company.
- Rates: DAYS: Paying £21.17 PAYE + £3.29 holiday pay or £29.12 Umbrella.
- Duration: Initial contract until end of year, but with the potential to extend further
- Hours: 37 hours basic plus overtime as the project progresses
- Location: Marshall Land Systems, The Airport, Newmarket Rd, Cambridge CB5 8RX
Your responsibilities in this role include:
- Time served as a painter with a proven track record of paint experience.
- To support the Production Managers and Team Leaders, ensuring that all Marshall Land System projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standard.
- Take an active role in continuous improvements, to include lean and 5s procedures.
- Ensure equipment and tooling required is identified to the line manager.
Apply if you have the following or equivalent:
- Experience in commercial vehicle, motor trade and aircraft paint spraying.
- City and Guilds Apprenticeship or equivalent time served is preferred
