We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager – Major Capital Projects to manage procurement for this and other high-value projects from our Northwich Head Office.

The Role:

As Procurement Manager, you will lead the procurement of major capital projects, driving cost and performance efficiencies while ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery. You’ll build strong supplier relationships, introduce new technologies, and support our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for large-scale capital projects.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure reliable supply chain performance.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and compliance.
  • Mitigate supply chain risks and ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal standards.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other teams to align procurement with company objectives.
  • Track and report on KPIs, providing updates to senior management.

Your Experience and Skills:

  • Proven track record in procurement for high-value, high-risk projects.
  • Expertise in construction project procurement, tender management, and supplier processes.
  • Strong understanding of contracts and associated commercial risks.
  • Exceptional negotiation, planning, and project management skills.
  • Background in manufacturing or industrial sectors preferred.

What We Offer:

We value our people and offer a generous benefits package, including:

  • Holidays: 37 days (including Bank Holidays) with options to roll over or purchase additional leave.
  • Flexible Working: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Pension: Up to 9% company contribution.
  • Wellbeing: Life insurance, healthcare, and professional fee reimbursement.
  • Community Support: One paid volunteering day annually.
