Description
Working within the Plant Maintenance Operations Team (PM Ops)
Production and co-ordination of technical information and programmes. Production of Process Instructions and new initiatives.
Communicating and planning effectively with Stakeholders at all levels within the Submarines Business and External 3rd Party service providers.
Responsible for your own SAP EAM Work Centres and Facilitating Statutory Inspections as well as Planned & Reactive 3rd Party Maintenance.
Controlling SAP EAM work orders, ensuring high quality detail of works is accurately recorded.
Review and submission of Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS) as a BAE Responsible Person (RP), monitoring compliance to 3rd Party RAMS through internal audits and process confirmations.
Liaising with Security Team stakeholders to arrange site access, escorting 3rd parties and providing adherence to BAE Site Security Guidance.
Driving Engagement with 3rd Party Service Providers prior to commencement of works to ensure Safe Systems of Work are in place and understood by all Stakeholders.
Delivering departmental processes and performing Asset Validation activities.
Experience in an Engineering, Maintenance or Asset Management environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and able to communicate effectively (Both written and verbal)
Proficient user of Microsoft Office packages.
Experience in managing and working to safe systems of work (SSOW).
A general understanding of the manufacturing used within the business.
Knowledge of the capabilities and the most appropriate uses of specialised analysis tools
Sufficient experience to be able to identify all the issues involved in their area of responsibility.
The correct recognition of the context of their work within the overall product.
To have a recognised trade background or equivalent experience (desirable but not essential)
Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance
