About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team on a contract basis, leading the delivery of key rail infrastructure projects across London and the Southeast. This is a hybrid working role with a mix of on-site presence and remote flexibility, ideal for a driven professional with a background in rail or large-scale infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of rail infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet time, budget, and quality objectives
- Develop and maintain project plans, track progress, and manage risks and issues proactively
- Liaise with internal teams, contractors, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Ensure compliance with rail industry regulations, health & safety standards, and environmental policies
- Prepare regular progress reports, documentation, and communication updates for stakeholders
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and foster a collaborative project environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing rail or transport infrastructure projects in the UK
- Strong understanding of UK rail standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g., Network Rail GRIP or PACE processes)
- Exceptional project management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Comfortable managing complex timelines, risks, and commercial considerations
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent)
- Relevant qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, or Construction
- PMP, PRINCE2, or APM certification (desirable)
- Right to work in the UK is essential
