Morson Talent are recruiting for a Product Quality Non-Conformance Engineer

Bolton

6 month initial contract 

£30 per hour (Umbrella)

We’re working with a leading defence organisation that supports our Armed Forces in delivering critical capability.

This role sits within the Non-Conformance team and will see you supporting frontline manufacturing operations—focusing on non-conformity management, root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement across production.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing and supporting the resolution of non-conformities across manufacturing

  • Analysing data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement

  • Driving the implementation and verification of corrective actions

  • Facilitating problem-solving activities and supporting new product introduction

  • Leading non-conformance meetings and supporting customer and intercompany concerns

What we’re looking for:

  • HNC/HND or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering discipline

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Confident communicator, capable of working across all levels of the business

  • Experience working in a manufacturing/production support environment

  • Ability to interpret data and lead improvement initiatives
