Morson are  recuiting Welders with brazing exprienece to work on a short term contract with our aerospace client based in Wrexham, initially the roles will be until Xmas but could be extended. 

Idealy this will be on nights 8am - 6.30 am Monday - Thursday although the first 1 or 2 weeks will be on days - 8am - 4.30 Monday - Friday. For the right candidate we might be able to offer this as days for the full duration of the contract. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform brazing operations to join metal components for aerospace applications, ensuring high precision and adherence to safety standards.
  • Work with various materials, including metals and alloys, to create strong, durable joints.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet the required quality standards.
  • Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Follow all relevant safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve any production issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in brazing, particularly in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
  • Ability to work with various metals and alloys.
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Good understanding of safety standards and procedures.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Candidates must be willing to work on-site in Wrexham.

Desirable Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience working in the aerospace industry is advantageous, but not required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Positive attitude with a commitment to high standards of workmanship.
