5 Axis CNC Machinist

Morson Talent are working closely with a key based in Oxfordshire. Our client are looking for a skilled 5 Axis CNC Machinist to join them on an on-going rolling contract basis.

• Tuesday – Friday dayshift (7am-5:30pm)
• Rate depending on experience but starting at £30.59 UMB or £22.74 PAYE
• On-going rolling contract
• Based in Oxfordshire

Job Summary


This role involves working on Heidenhain-controlled CNC machines to produce high-precision components in composite materials

Skillset/experience required

• Experience with 5 Axis CNC machining
• Proficiency in Heidenhain control systems - is essential 
• Experience with composite matiral would be preferable but not essential 
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and precision
• Previous experience in motorsport or aerospace is advantageous
• Capable of working with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills
• Team-oriented mindset
• Flexible and adaptable approach
• Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent experience in precision engineering would be preferable
