Lead Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Morson Talent is currently recruiting for a Lead Maintenance Engineer  - Mobile, who has experience working as a Multi-Skilled Engineer/ Elec bias, within the Facilities maintenance industry. This is an excellent opportunity, to join a global building maintenance organisation, on either a long-term contract or on a temp to perm basis.

Locations you will be required to cover - Charing Cross ( 2 days )  and  paddington (3 days )  close to main line train stations. 

On offer:

  • Umbrella £31.00 - £33.00 depending on experience.
  • Weekly payments to Umbrella or PAYE
  • Opportunity for this role to go permanent after 3 months.
  • Looking for someone to start within the next 2 weeks.  
  • Overtime available in the week 1.5 and weekend rate 2.0.

Duration – Long term contract and opportunity to for the role to go permanent, for the right candidate.

Hours – 8am to 17.00pm – Monday to Friday.

Rate - £31.00 - £33.00 - depending on expeirence.

Purpose of role:

To carry out PPM’s & reactive works to building plant. Undertake minor installation works, repairs to building fabric, and handyman duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience working as a Lead Engineer / supervisor.
  • Respond to Building Management System alarms and fix / attend emergency repairs.
  • Good customer service skills
  • Experience in building services maintenance
  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies in accordance with the contract requirements on Mechanical / Electrical Services and associated systems.
  • Ensure that all plant and BMS checks are completed on time, and all problems found are recorded.
  • Be proactive with regard to preventative maintenance housekeeping.
  • Respond in a prompt and effective manner to all related reactive maintenance issues, associated with the electrical infrastructure and the heating and ventilation systems, pumps, water tanks, valves, pipe work and associated mechanical systems or as directed.
  • Repairs of electrical and mechanical systems, controls and associated systems.

Qualifications

Must have Electrical qualifications, including City & Guilds and either 17th or 18th Edition is essential, for this role.

The ideal candidate must be available to start within 2 weeks and have previous experience, working as a Lead Engineer / Supervisor.
